Sebastian Conrad is a non-binary, queer artist born and raised in
Bavaria,Germany.

In his paintings he enquires the vastness of natures own expression and the emotion that it conjures
— expressed though multiple layers, accumulations of shapes, textures and colour, Sebastian allows his free-spirited approach to reflect the various media he brings onto canvas through extended periods of time. Layer by layer he brings a quality of time into his work.

His practise of self-portraiture and fine-art/ fashion photography on the other hand arose from the need to understand his own queeness and the conditioning of self that we as humans experience. It explores different perspectives and ideas that are present within the realms of identity, society and connection.
